Well, I made it through finals. They weren't so bad, but I am still worried. If I failed anything my parents will kill me. On the upside, while I was cramming for exams down at the library I met THE cutest boy. His name is Ted Johanos, he's a senior from the Dominican Republic. He has such a nice Mexican accent, I feel so cliche for saying this, but it is very sexy and exotic. Nothing has happened yet, but who knows. His dark looks send chills down my spine.

Exams are just around the corner and I am some unprepapred. I need to study so badly and yet I can't focus! Instead of hitting the books I find myself spacing out or killing time on the internet. This is really terrible, I am really worried that I might fail. Aaagh!

GAH! So hard to be back. I miss Lor and Lon and Claire's house... I almost cried as we drove away. And now I'm sitting here attempting to start my work, (note 'attempting.') I'm looking forward to settling back in because I know this phase will pass, but for now all I want to do is fast forward until xmas.

Today was def. a Barnard day!!! Even though school is out I'm not home yet... so I'm just hanging out in the city. That means I have all the time to party and none of the schoolwork! Hoorah!

and here's why:

1) NYC is much cooler than Durham

2) I would rather go to a club than a frat party

3) Broadway is more fun than basketball

4) absolutely no need for a car

5) a dance program that's as much or as little as I want to make of it

6) a good percentage of the student body know who gramm/cunningham/limon are

7) Smart Columbia boys :)
